호주 JobKeeper 직원들을 위한 임금 정부 지원금 COVID-19 보조금

코로나 바이러스 COVID19 사태로 비즈니스를 위한 정부 지원금과 세금 혜택 등 여러 가지 경기부양책을 지원하고 있는데 그중 JobKeeper에 대해 알아보겠습니다.

JobKeeper Payment는 이름 그대로 직원들이 일자리를 유지할 수 있도록 호주 정부에서 고용주들에게 주어지는 직원 웨이지입니다. 자격조건에 만족하는 비즈니스와 직원들에게 이주에 $1500 이 최대 6개월까지 지급됩니다.

고용주 자격조건
Employers will be eligible for the subsidy if:
• their business has a turnover of less than $1 billion and their turnover has fallen by more than
30 per cent; or
• their business has a turnover of $1 billion or more and their turnover has fallen by more than
50 per cent; and
• the business is not subject to the Major Bank Levy

직원 자격조건
Eligible employees are employees who:
• are currently employed by the eligible employer (including those stood down or re-hired);
• were employed by the employer at 1 March 2020;
• are full-time, part-time, or long-term casuals (a casual employed on a regular basis for longer than
12 months as at 1 March 2020);
• are at least 16 years of age;
• are an Australian citizen, the holder of a permanent visa, or a Special Category (Subclass 444) Visa
Holder; and
• are not in receipt of a JobKeeper Payment from another employer. 

Job Keeper 신청방법은 호주 국세청 ATO 웹사이트에서 JobKeeper Payment를 신청할 수 있으며 보조금은 3월 30일부터 적용되며 첫 페이는 5월부터 달마다 지금 될 예정입니다.
